A beloved lake retreat in a quiet cove in the foothills of the north Georgia mountains needed a complete remodel to suit the clients’ changing lifestyle with the new generation beckoning to create more family memories. We transformed the interiors to bring a renewed sense of energy to the home while enhancing the nostalgic spirit of past summers. Wood elements add a warm touch to the soft white color palette, and the light pouring through the retractable double doors to the outside encourages indoor/outdoor living almost year-round. With a small wet bar overlooking the boat dock, it’s an easy task to grab a cocktail on your way out the door for a sunset cruise.
